Nokia Lumia 610 coming to Asia this month

Nokia’s most affordable Windows Phone 7 device is the Lumia 610, first announced back during the MWC 2012 in February. The good news is that the device will soon be available in various markets throughout the world.

Nokia has officially announced that the first country to get the Nokia 610 would be the Philippines and it will launch there in the last week of April. In the following weeks it will launch in Taiwan, Honk Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and China (as Lumia 610C). Other regions will also get the device in this quarter, however no specific dates have been released yet.

We are very confident that the device will soon be available for purchase in the Indian market as this has always been a huge market for Nokia devices. This is just a speculation as it seems the device will launch in India sometime before the end of next month.

In regards to the specification it runs Windows Phone 7.5 and sports a 3.7-inch WVGA display. It will also include a 5 megapixel rear camera, 800 MHz processor, 256MB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 13,000. Also, a NFC capable version of the Lumia 610 has also been spotted, which is expected to launch in Europe in early Q3 2012.
